One reason why I love what I do is because it’s creates interest all around. People are interested to know what Home Staging and ReStyles are all about. I love to educate them. And of course they want to know what a Property Stylist is as well and one reason why I chose that title.
Another reason, I chose the title Property Stylist is becasuse it really encompasses all that I do as a Home Stager. The average home stager is not average at all! Most Home Stagers provide more services than just home staging alone. From downsizing and organizing to restyles and/or holiday decorating, Home Stagers offer a gammut of services that deal with making a home stylish and functional.
I always say “Invigorate your space, Invigorate your life”. Simple budget friendly changes can breathe new life into a space. Property Stylists do just that and give properties style and function that suits the need at the time.
If your home needs staging to be sold, a Property Stylist will create a neutral and inviting palatte that will appeal to the majority of buyers to get that home sold quickly and profitably. If you want to update the look of your home and create a dream space, we do that too. By listening to your vision for the space we will bring your dreams to life and create the space you have always wanted. Can’t see pass the clutter to determine what you want? We can help there as well.
De-cluttering is a major aspect in Home Staging so we do it well. But de-cluttering is not just for selling a home. A clutter free home can not only help increase your creativity but also helps you feel more relaxed and you will enjoy your space more.
Do you have a special event coming up? Need to host a dinner party, a bridal shower, or holiday dinner? Property Stylists have that covered too. Most ReStyles or themed decorating can be completed in a day.
Need serious work done? Property Stylists can also oversee remodeling or renovation projects.
Realtors, Investors or Builders, we offer services for you as well. From simple design and color consultations to full service home staging, we can assist you in securing a quick and profitable sale for your property/listing.
Whatever design dilemma you may have, a Property Stylist can assist you! If you are unsure as to what services your local Home Stager/Property Stylist offers, give them a call and explain your design dilemma. I am sure they will come up with a fresh and creative solution for you.

I have never heard it as a Stylist...I like it.
Don't even get me started......
Tanya -- congratulations on a great post and feature -- how great is that! I love the description of stylist -- because most stagers do so much more than just prepare to sell!
I like the fact that you've done something to separate yourself from the pack. Most real estate professionals are "forgettable". finding ways to differentiate yourself from the competition is extremely important, and one way to become memorable-- so good for you.
Hi Tanya, I love the term stylist! Here in LA we hear lots about stylists in the entertainment industry, so it's a great term for us to use locally!
Love the name "property stylist"......Awesome. Move to Austin and you are hired.......
Hi Tanya, Property stylist, that is a perfect moniker for what you do! "Invigorate your space, Invigorate your life". How very true. I've seen it so many times.
Tanya,
Great post, it's true stager/stylists wear alot of different hats, thatt's what keeps our job fun & exciting. I agree, to see a client get excited about how much they love their restyled home is a real thrill! Love the title & your line about invigorate your life! Congrats on getting featured.
Tanya,
What a great post that explains what we stagers and redesigners do. Good way to educate the consumer.
I love the term "sylist". That's exactly what we do!
Tina - I think it is appropriate because we do a lot.
Natasha - I'm really surprised, its nice to have a featured post.
Emmett - Just give me a little notice when you are headed this way.
Marie - I think it's cool. The term is used more in England than in the US.
Denise - Do tell!
Margaret - It's true. We market too I always forget that part.
John - That good to hear coming from a Broker.
Annie - I am sure that fits in perfectly where you live. I have never been to LA.
Tim - Don't tempt me, I love Texas!
Marian - When you love the way your home looks, life is so much better.
Holly - That's why I love our industry, you can grow your business so many different ways and wear all the hats you want!
Patti - I love your name Stage it in a day! How cool.
Kathy - True indeed.
Thanks everyone for stopping by and commenting.
Considering I am very new to the Real Estate field, how best would I approach this to my seller?
And how much does a complete package cost?
Nancy, you can say that it is something you recommend to all your clients as it will help increase the salability of their home.
Cost just depends on how much work the clients would like done. But to start off with a consultation on average is anywhere from $150-$350 depending on what market you are in.
Hey Tanya, mind if I borrow that title? Love it!
Thanks for sharing~
Hi Tanya, I just ran across your blog after doing a Google search for "property stylist". In today's Sunday Seattle Times Newspaper there is a big article in the real estate section about property styling for photographs. I hope you get lots more people looking for a property stylist as your name will be one of the first they see!
I just came across this post you wrote a few months ago and I love the title "Property Stylist"!!! It seems a little more sophisticated than Home Stager and as others have already mentioned, definitely encompasses all of our services. Not sure how I would convert all of my literature, website, etc to incorporate that title.
Tosha - of course you can.
Diana, Thanks for sharing it. That is good to know.
Tori Lynn - I don't know either. It worked for me because I was using both then, so when making changes like doing a new website and all I was able to just go to "property Stylist".
Tanya, would you give me permission to reblog this on my own personal website? I will give you credit.
Hey Nancy, great to hear from you. Sure you can re-blog this if you like.
